“That’s not a moon, it’s a space station!” That pretty sums up my reaction to this Diezel D-Moll 100 watt Guitar Amp Head from Germany.
Seller says he got her used and she quickly became a gateway drug to two more Diezels, including the infamous Herbert. Seller assures you the rumors are true, this D-Moll is “definitely voiced like a Herbert.” Boy howdy.
She rocks an incredible assortment of features, but lets focus first on her 2.5 channels that produce “killer tone.”
Channel one goes from clean to mild crunch.
Channel two delivers mild to meaty crunch.
Channel three, which shares EQ with the second channel so seller’s calling this a half channel, provides an “insane amount of” gain (and?) Loops.
Seller lists all of her capabilities—what controls what, basically—so take a gander at his listing to get all the skinny.
She even has a compensated out for recording and a Columbus out as well. Loaded for bear, as they say.
Cosmetically, there are some marks on her top Tolex from other equipment sitting on top. Otherwise, she’s in great shape, and the photos certainly support that claim.
Go get her.
