Talk about a guitar with a history connecting one famous to another kinda famous musician and this American-made 2012 Gibson Arlo Guthrie LG-2 3/4 Acoustic Guitar should be on the list.
Seller says Arlo Guthrie (the kinda famous musician best known for “Alice’s Restaurant”) contacted Gibson for help reconstructing a guitar given to him in the 1950s by his legendary father, Woody Guthrie (“This Land is Your Land” is his most famous song).
Gibson obliged Arlo and brought his old guitar back to life, then went a step further and reissued the guitar as part of its Signature Series of acoustics. Seller writes this is a “painstaking reproduction of Arlo’s classic Gibson guitar, original in every way including its replica vintage finish.”
Seller writes this charmer has an unbelievable warm, rich sound. She’s in fine condition, near new, except for one unfortunate scratch on her back.
Seller notes this guitar is no longer in production.
This guitar just moves me. She has a lot of music in her. Let’s find her a good home.
Of course 29 folks are watching her. She’s got soul aplenty.
Go get her.
