Ampeg B-12N Portaflex Tube Bass Amplifier

Man oh man, this Ampeg B-12N Portaflex Tube Bass Amplifier from the 1960s is so incredibly cool. It’s not just me, either. A whopping 97 folks are watching her.

Although her head is missing its cage, seller says she works and sounds great and would be perfect as a studio amp or for small clubs.

Seller writes she is the smaller, rarer version of the B-15 and is driven by 6L6 power tubes, a 5AR4 Rectifier tube and 3 x 6SL7  preamp tubes. She’ll make some noise, that’s for dang sure.

She still rocks her original 1 x 12 speaker. And, for those who check such things, her serial number is #016073.

I think she’d be a hoot to have around. I’d stick her in the living room and make her a conversation piece.

If this Ampeg B-12N Portaflex Amplifier is giving you the sweats, she can be all yours for $1709.99 Buy it Now on eBay.

Go get her.
