Jefferson Abraham Davis Lincoln Humbucker is my name, but everybody just calls me Muddy.
My momma’s from the South. My daddy’s from up North. You might say I’ve been a little mixed up—muddy, as it were—from the get go. But momma got the first word in and so Dixie is my home.
Ever since I can remember, guitars have been my life. I’ve seen all the greats and the not-so-greats, worked as a roadie, a bouncer, a bagman, a wheelman, a gofer, whatever. Anything as long as I was around guitars.
Naturally, this has led to some misadventures better left unsaid.
Sad to say but being the restless sort and keeping your head down do not play well together. So, rather than just go nuts while I wait for the heat to cool, if it ever does, I’m building this shrine to scratch my itch.
Maybe it’ll scratch yours, too.
Either way, I’m good.
