Where should I start with this amazing American-made 1999 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Elegant?
Seller says this is one of 300 made by Gibson in 1999 and it was built to compete against Paul Reed Smith. Seller’s grammar gets a little clunky but I think he means this guitar was Gibson’s shot at building a single cut guitar.
The top is stunning. That’s an AAAAA grade quilted Maple top and it deserves all those As. Just stunning.
Seller says she’s in very good condition with a few very small dings that are damn near impossible to see unless you hold her under bright lights at just the right angle. I believe him.
Main thing is she’s a “great player with a comfortable feel. Includes original Gibson Historic Hard Case, manual and paperwork.”
She rocks two classic ’57 humbuckers, a Tune-o-Matic bridge, stopper tailpiece, bound neck and body and gold hardware.
Then there’s her oh-so-fine abalone trapezoid fret markers.
So much beauty packed in such a small space.
62 people are watching this gem and someone’s getting itch. I can feel it.
Go GET her.
