1984 Gibson Explorer Designer Series Electric Guitar

This 1984 Gibson Explorer Designer Series Electric Guitar stopped me dead in my tracks. She’s that good looking.

Seller says she’s reminiscent of James Hatfield’s axe at the time. I just love her pinstriped top. That will definitely draw eyeballs.

She rocks Seymour Duncan Vintage Blues pickups and seller notes the original wiring harness is intact. Other features worth pointing out are her non-tremolo stop tailpiece and triangular knob pattern.

Seller says she’s got some average play wear but no cracks or repairs. There are a couple of finish blemishes on the back but its pretty mundane stuff and no one will see them when you’re playing anyway.

She’s been separated from her OHSC and comes with a Hamer Explorer case instead.

I looked all over to find where she was made but I can find no sign of that. So if country of origin matters to you, ask seller.

If this Gibson Explorer has you ready to take on bold new horizons, she’s up for the challenge for $1299 Buy it Now on eBay.

Go get her.
